We are pleased to introduce
“COOL” Structural
Insulated Sandwich Panels manufactured by us at
our “State of Art” plant
at Thane (Maharashtra) in technical collaboration
with U.K. based company of high international
repute.
COOL has not only supplied the
plant, but also trained the Personal to ensure
that the Panels meet the high standards laid down
by S&K.
The panels are manufactured utilizing
a core of EXPANDED POLY STYRENE (EPS)
Extinguishing Quality, continuously bonded under
pressure and heat to outer facing , in a continuous
laminating machine.
The outer Skins are both sides’
pre-coated steel. The steel thickness
is 0.5mm and is imported from British
Steels, U.K. or Dongbu Corporation, Korea.
It is Hot Dip Galvanized with
Zinc coating of 175 gms per Sq.mtrs. The coating
on top is Architectural Polyester Paint, off-white
in colour, with a coating thicknes of
25 microns, consisting of 5 microns of
primer and 20 microns of finished coat. The reverse
side has a grey backing coat of 5 microns, compatiable
for bonding. It comes with a “Peel-Off”
film to ensure that the material is protected
against scratches during transit and erection.
The Panels have recessed male
edge on one side and roll formed female edge on
the other side, which creates an interlock, ensuring
Panels-to-Panel finish and a snug insulation-to-insulation
fit.
